Temanggung, 13-09-2022 - The Covid-19 pandemic is gradually subsiding as the domestic financial market stabilizes and several economic sectors, such as exports, recover. The increase in export activity, especially the products of micro, small and medium enterprises (UMKM) is one of the factors of national economic recovery that the government continues to support. Customs, as a government agency in charge of service and export supervision also provides encouragement so that UMKM products can export independently so that they can compete in the international market.

Windarto, Head of the Magelang Customs Internal Compliance and Extension Section, revealed that CV Kwadungan Coffee, one of the UMKM units under the supervision of Magelang Customs managed to export its flagship product in the form of coffee, on Friday (09/09). "We are grateful to be able to attend the premier export process of coffee products from Temanggung Regency. We hope that CV Kwadungan Coffee's success in carrying out its first export can be followed by other UMKM actors in Temanggung Regency," he added.

Temanggung Regency, located in Central Java Province, is known as "Tobacco City" because most of its residents work as tobacco farmers. However, apart from being famous for its tobacco crops, Temanggung Regency is also famous as a coffee producing area. Quality coffee leads Temanggung Regency to market coffee products to the world. This time, through CV Kwadungan Coffee, robusta coffee products from Temanggung Regency were successfully marketed to Turkey.

Machsun, as the owner of the CV Kwadungan Coffee business, expressed his happiness because he managed to send Temanggung Regency's flagship product to the international market. "I am very happy because I managed to send exports independently. This time it is only one container, but the future plan will be three containers every month," he pointed out.

We welcome CV Kwadungan Coffee's plan to market the product abroad. Hopefully the success of this premier export can inspire other UMKM actors in Temanggung Regency to export. Windarto
